Scotlands Winter mountains offer a unique experience to anybody who ventures out in them. It's many dark and forbidding cliffs transform in Winter to fun playgrounds with turf , ice and rock. The big gullies are famous, the ridges legendary and the mixed terrain inexhaustible. All you have to do is decide when!

SKILLS WEEKEND An opportunity to experience and develop your climbing skills. Specific techniques and coaching built around two days of climbing routes in the Cairngorms.

TRIP DESCRIPTION
The skills weekend is intended as a foundation for climbers who wish to take on the more adventurous offerings of the winter climbing scene. Two days of professional instruction in all climbing techniques combined with expert guidance on climbs at a standard that suits you.
 
ITINERARY
Day 1 After an early breakfast, we travel to the Northern corries of Cairngorm, where we learn all about the art of climbing in winter, technique instruction and get onto climbs of at least Grade II/III.
 
Day 2 We choose a suitable venue and go climbing all day. The emphasis being on your movement, ropes skills and problem avoidance.
