TRIP DESCRIPTION
Meeting in an idealic Italian valley the base of Cogne is central to over 100 quality ice cascades. Learn the art of steep ice climbing, protection, and hazard avoidance. 5 days instruction and guidance on the ice.
ITINERARY
Day 1 Basic technique day looking at the art of climbing, belaying and hazard avoidance, on easy ice route.
Day 2 Technique consolidation, efficient descent system and more fun ice.
Days 3,4 & 5 Ascend numerous classic ice falls, grades 3 to 5. Mur de Patri, Tutto Relativo, Candelabro del Coyote.
